Hello! I'm Stacey, I'm grateful you found your way to my website, on purpose or by accident!

My Big 3; I’m a Leo Sun, Capricorn Rising, and Capricorn Moon. I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, alongside the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I currently reside in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, home of the Sleeping Giant and Land of the Lakes!

As a youngster, I was always looking up into those starry prairie skies I called 'home'. As a child, I recall my favorite planet being the ringed beauty ‘Saturn’ (which later in life after studying astrology, I found out I’m ‘ruled’ by this planet – go figure!). I remember the day I came home telling my mom all about how we were learning about the solar system in science class and how excited I was to learn all about the planets and the stars! I recall asking my mom, ‘how big is space?’. My mom responded, ‘space goes on forever’, ‘it never ends’. I remember being baffled by this statement. 'Forever...!? Really!?' I said, my imaginative, youthful mind couldn’t comprehend that, I wanted to learn more about the sky, the stars, and what lies beyond our galaxy.

Fast forward a few years, then.., well.., life happens.., one grows up, early education quiets the right brain so the left brain dominates, family shuffling occurred, we moved, then moved again, then moved again, and sure enough my creative, energetic, dreams about the stars slowly dissipated and I just needed to get through my schooling years. So, after 6+ school changes within 5+ years and moving back and forth between two provinces, my family rekindled landing us in Northwestern Ontario in April 2000 to turn a new leaf. We traded those rocky mountains and the prairie plains for rolling rivers and glass like lakes, so I guess you can say the other half of me was raised in Northwestern Ontario. Holding my grade 12 diploma in hand, I was thinking, 'okay, now what?'… I took a year off, worked full-time at my retail job in hardware to think over what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Teachers always encouraged in school – 'go after your dreams, your likes, your interests' – I remember thinking, I don't know what I want!? Growing up mainly in the country, work hard, play hard was instilled in me at a very young age. We were blessed to have experienced camping on many occasions and many vacations to the US and within Canada. My mother taught me how to cook, bake, clean, do laundry, look after a household and was a walking encyclopedia for me. My father worked long hours as a small business owner in the construction industry and was an excellent provider for the family, he helped me develop a backbone, always pushed me to do my very best and of course tried to make outside yard work as fun as possible. My older sister taught me how to dress, how to do my hair, makeup, and even how to drive, she became my best friend and confidant in life, I am very grateful I had her by my side during a few dark periods in our life. As for hobbies or interests, I loved to draw, colour, read, create storybooks and anything outdoor related. I naturally gravitated to my father’s hobby of restoring beautiful classic vehicles. My father enjoyed anything mechanical with a carburetor and wheels. This was something we did together as a family for over 30 years! I wanted to pursue mechanics or anything related to vehicles however, after discussing with my parents about my college choices, they strongly encouraged me to go the 'business' route. As my dad put it, ‘you don’t want to be cranking wrenches at 40, Stacey’. So, I enrolled in a 3-year advanced business program in Human Resources Management at a local College.

After finishing my studies and graduating in 2005, I was fortunate enough to find my first job in Human Resources within 2 months of graduating (Jupiter approaching my Midheaven at the time and I was experiencing my 2nd Jupiter return!). I was absolutely thrilled to start my new career! Then as life continued, I fell in love with one of my best friends and we relocated March 2009 to Thunder Bay, Ontario to be together and start a new life, and life was good… or so I thought. Little did I know, the universe was about to 'test' everything in my life up to that point. My ‘1st Saturn Return’ which starts to rumble around age 25… plus Pluto the planet of transformation was slowly stripping my natal moon (home, emotional body, my comfort zone) bare for my own good and evolution. Also, my boyfriend at the time was experiencing his own challenges with his 1st Saturn Return as we were both around the same age.

So, in 2011 into 2012, were dark years for me, I would consider these years as my rock bottom moments. I walked away from a relationship that I had outgrown, I lost a home, I lost money and material assets, I left a toxic boss and job, and I lost some friendships along the way.... all at once! My Leo pride was officially bruised and burnt... yea, good times indeed. Thanks Saturn, Pluto and the Universe…  however, I am now able to see that silver lining, this situation was karmic, it was meant to be and this story continued my journey to ‘waking up’ to my soul’s path…

As I sat on the floor of my shabby apartment, in tears wondering how in the hell I got here, well, this was my rock bottom moment. I had to rebuild, redo, reinvent myself like a phoenix rising out of the ashes..., that’s when tarot and astrology found me! I was fortunate to have a cousin who lived in the same city, and she gave me a good kick in the ass (metaphorically of course lol) and said, ‘you’re too young, Stacey!' Move on, get over it, mingle, and you can start by helping me out at events! So, I gave it a try. She owned an event planning business at the time and yes, I always had a front row seat to all the incredible talent and events she brought to the city. Of those talents and people, most impressionable upon me included Colette Baron Reid, John Holland, David Chilton, Susan Stewart, Shawn Leonard, just to name a few. Attending these events sparked life and intrigue in me once again.

I began diving into tarot, astrology, spirituality, motivational, and metaphysical books in 2012 and have been experimenting and studying in these topics ever since. I’ve always been in tune with my surroundings and with people, an odd 'knowing' that I never could explain, consistent synchronicity, sensing underlying intentions with people, seeing and perceiving figures and energy since I was a child. I was hooked all over again!

This of course is just ONE story that resonates for me and was quite impactful in my journey. Our greatest awakenings usually occur through relationships of many kinds (especially if you are part of the Pluto in Libra generation) and with our physical bodies and health. I want to note here, Saturn Return(s) nor Pluto transits are nothing to be feared, this is just my story on how my 1st Saturn Return along with one Pluto transit unfolded in my life. I understand now how all these planets in the sky and the universe in general works for us, not against us, it is 'US' that works against the lessons therefore making circumstances more difficult. If you are not willing to change then yes these planets will bring us to our knees quite literally! When something difficult occurs in our life, its hard to see the 'why' in the midst of a storm, however, over time, you can take a step back turn on the observer and take away the positives that occurred and how it has shaped you into a higher version of yourself today.

Today I continue to work in the Human Resources field and have been doing so for 18 years, however, I’ve been called to the metaphysical world, and I intend to figure out why. So here I am, coming out of the spiritual closet, taking that first step! I’ve been having this ongoing calling to do this for a long time however, ignoring the call is just drawing more frustration, difficult situations, and poor health into my life (and undiagnosed illnesses that flatlined me in 2006 – another story I’m happy to share at some point!). So, there is more to come, I feel like this is just the beginning so stay tuned…. magic and synchronicity are all around us, always.  Are you open to them?

As Albert Einstein said.... "There are two ways to live your life, one is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is though everything is a miracle."

Love and Light,
Stacey XOXO
